I just ran across an old high school friend, from this Michigan area. He used to play rock and roll, then with a band called Dutch Henry, they opened for Deanna Carter when she came to the area. He is older now, like the rest of us, and now plays either solo, or with his trio. He concentrates mostly on Jazz, you know, the real kind of music. I just had to share this. I never opened for Deanna Carter, but I did open for a fairly well known person or two, in the day. But I did play in front of over 10,000 people before.
